Three research papers featuring examples of a diary study (Sohn et al, 2008), user interview (Matthews, Judge, & Whittaker, 2012), and a moderated remote usability study (White, Rice, & Chen, 2010) are compared and contrasted.

This completed paper explores the concept of social proof as a design vehicle for persuading digital users to respond to an experience in the desired way. The paper outlines the concept, provides a literature review, and examines the technique in use. A low-fidelity design is included.

The paper was completed for the IADT MSc in UX Design. I am sharing the paper for UX research purposes.
